By the way, one of the best things you can do in Japan in summer is visit the Awa Dance Festival (Awa Odori) in Tokushima City from August 12^th to 15^th.  I took the above photo on one of my 5 (6?) visits to this great festival.  If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favour and get down there this year!
